Pontus - an upholstered seat bench with style brings together both comfort (-ish, let's be honest, you're not going to hang out in Pontus while watching a movie) and aesthetics in a unique way. It is designed to add a touch of sophistication and elegance to the space it is placed in. Sleek is the word that comes to mind when describing Pontus. The dimensions of the seat bench is 150. Not too big and bulky, not too small and 'shy'. Pontus is not the one to 'put in a corner' but rather placed as a center piece in a sofa section etc. There's so much flexibility that allows for the bench to be placed in the entryway, living room, or bedroom etc.
With two bolsters embedded into the frame of the seat it is the art of furniture making as it takes some serious skills to make this in a way that the fabric doesn't crease when you sit down, while allowing the seating to be soft. (We'd go on about this for hours, but that's another topic entirely). This bench features the luxurious upholstery "Monkey Business" from Jim Thomson. Pontus Seat Bench is made in Europe.
